A Little Piece of Lovely - Julia Smith Ceramics
I'm currently lusting over Julia Smith's nature-themed ceramics. As well as this gorgeous tree bowl, Julia crafts beautiful pottery pieces featuring insects such as bees and butterflies. See more of her work at www.juliasmithceramics.com which is available to buy on Etsy. Gorgeous!
This is me: a very happily married girlie, I have two fabbie daughters and one snuggly Burmese cat (Louie). We live in a slightly shabby Edwardian house which, like most old houses, is constantly in need of TLC, it's freezing in the winter but utterly gorgeous in Spring, Summer and Autumn so 3 out of 4 ain't bad. We have a slightly wild and overgrown garden which I am trying to hoe into submission. The Boy made a couple of smashing raised beds and we make efforts at growing our own veg. We have a hedgehog house at the bottom of the garden but so far no little pigsies have moved in. I live in hope. When I'm not working in TV production, I love to spend quality time with my family (inc. mum, brother, sister etc) and friends, renovate the house (although I have come to accept it will never look like something in Elle Decoration) and indulge in creative pursuits. I can usually be found pruning something, singing or dancing round the kitchen with my spatulas.
